Another child portrait assignment for me yesterday. I went back home to visit family so while I was there I took some pics of my nephew. The night was rapidly failing so I bounced my flash off the white wall to put a sparkle in the eyes. I used the short end of my 70-200 and focused on the eyes to really make sure they were sharp and crisp. There's nothing worse than when looking at an image and noticing that the most important part of a portrait, the eyes are out of focus. I sat back and waited for the perfect expression! I think this shot really sums up my nephew..cute!
